Cookie policy

What we use

FPSing uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and it sets a small number of first-party cookies on your device to do so. Beyond that there is no account system, no comment system and no advertising network, so nothing else is stored.

Strictly necessary

Our host may set a short-lived cookie or equivalent for security and load balancing. These are required for the site to be served safely and cannot be switched off without breaking it.

Analytics

We measure traffic with two tools, which behave differently:

• Google Analytics (GA4), provided by Google. It sets first-party cookies — _ga and _ga_<id> — that hold a randomly generated identifier used to count returning visitors and sessions. They expire up to about two years after your most recent visit. The data (pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and referrer) is processed by Google under its own terms; we use it only in aggregate and do not use it to identify you personally.
• Ahrefs Web Analytics, which is cookie-free: it stores nothing on your device and builds no per-visitor profile.

To opt out of Google Analytics, use your browser’s cookie controls (see Controlling cookies below) or install Google’s official opt-out browser add-on. Blocking these cookies does not affect how the site works.

Advertising

None. No advertising network is loaded anywhere on this site, and no advertising or cross-site advertising cookie is set. If display advertising is introduced later, this page and our privacy policy will be updated first.

Third-party sites

Links to other sites — including Raiderism and CODZombie — take you to properties with their own cookie practices. The only third-party service we load on FPSing itself is the analytics described above.

Controlling cookies

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies from its settings, and offers a private browsing mode that discards them at the end of a session. The analytics cookies above are the only non-essential cookies we set, and blocking them will not affect how FPSing works for you.
